I had an Ork trukk (http://i463.photobucket.com/albums/qq352/slipwing/2008052.jpg) and it was ruined in the same way as your Tyranids by a can of the Armory black primer. I have never had luck stripping plastic minis in the past, but I have never used Purple Power. I will have to give it a try. Thanks for the post!slipwinghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07823619071513079633noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-446324980688837295.post-76374001445670897772010-05-07T07:42:11.469-07:002010-05-07T07:42:11.469-07:00I have had the same problem with their Black prime...I have had the same problem with their Black primer. They suggested this dodgy looking clear stuff, which I found dried exactly like snow flock as well. Putting that stuff over a finished mini would have been murder ;-)

I have a mate who used to strip metal miniatures in hexane, in a sonicator. It didn't work any where near as good as Simple Green, but we had some fun times hiding it from the supervisor.Dutchhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11521479258116253517noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-446324980688837295.post-213251060314471632010-05-14T05:05:33.053-07:002010-05-14T05:05:33.053-07:00The last pictures of the gaunt baths makes me thin...The last pictures of the gaunt baths makes me think that that is what the inside of a spore pod must look like.
